Our Mission

We founded City Gate in 2006 with the vision to take prayer out of the church and to the people of our community. Throughout years of growth, we still place our focus on those in our streets, in our neighborhoods, and across our community.

Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’

Our History

Feeding those who are hungry came from a place of sitting in the prayer room, and watching hungry people pass by.

In 2009 as we began to live out fully the values and vision of City Gate, we noticed many people coming into the prayer room asking for money to buy lunch or coffee. We began to ask, if we had a lunch, would you come, would it help? Would you come for a free cup of coffee? The answer was a resounding yes.
