We think it is important to have prayer rooms in a fixed location because we believe in the power of prayer, that the Holy Spirit can fill a place as well as a person. We believe prayer can and will change us and our cities. There can be a real sense of God’s presence in the room after hours of prayer there. There is something good about people having to go somewhere to prayer, even at night.
There is built-in accountability that means people must turn up on time to pass the baton of prayer to the next person. There is a focus for the creative and it is somewhere you can read others people’s prayers and testimonies.
We are moving into 4 ‘tracks’ of prayer that we will be implementing at each location:
